The Structured Founder
Stop being the system.
Build one instead.
Your business works. But only because you do.
A complete business system: my consulting playbook, in your hands. Read it, or install it into Claude and let it prompt you through your own business one step at a time. Every stage, from drift to exit.
Forty hours. One page. It tells you whether you own a business or a job.

About me
replace with the real shot
4:5 portrait
I spent six years learning to run other people's businesses. Cellar door to general manager at a Hunter Valley winery, then consulting into vineyards across the region. Going in, learning every role, reading the numbers and writing the blueprint the owner couldn't.
Then I sold my house and bought a restaurant in the town I grew up in. The first six months I rebuilt its reputation, not the room, which is the harder half and the half nobody pays for. Then a storm flooded the function space right before Christmas. That room was the engine, and it sat shut for three months while the rent kept coming and the insurance never paid.
Twice I tried to hand it to a manager and step back. Both times it turned within weeks and dragged me back. It only worked while I was standing in it, which meant the only way out was to sell the thing I was standing in.
I sold it for seventy five per cent more than I paid, nineteen months in. Staff paid, suppliers paid, super paid. It went to the new owners debt free and it's still trading. I wound up the company behind it and walked away with nothing, still paying down what's left.
Six figures down. Everyone got paid except me.
I don't tell you that for sympathy. I tell you because it's the reason every framework in this book exists. That business didn't go under because I worked too little. It went under because everything ran through me, and the day I couldn't stand in it, nothing did.
What I'm worth listening to for isn't the loss. It's the order I paid people in. The Structured Founder is what came out of it.
How it actually happened is a book of its own. That one's called Field Notes.
The problem
Consultants come in many forms.
Few cover everything. Fewer are affordable.
Most specialise in one area. Marketing, bookkeeping, strategy, operations. Few are genuinely affordable, and even fewer cover all of it. For most businesses, the help that would actually change things is priced out of reach.
I know, because that was the wall I hit. When my own business was breaking there was nobody affordable who covered all of it, so I built the system myself, the hard and expensive way. The Structured Founder is that system, written down, so you don't have to pay six figures to learn what it teaches.
The solution
One system for every part
of your business.
The Structured Founder is a complete operating system for a small business, built from the exact playbook I charge to install inside other people's companies. Not motivation, not theory. The frameworks, diagnostics and prompts I use in the room.
It takes you through every stage a business moves through, drift, pressure, stabilisation, structure, scale and exit, and the seven systems every business runs on: sales, customers, staff, finance, operations, admin and you. You find where your business breaks, then build the structure that fixes it. Read it, or install it and let it prompt you through your own business one step at a time.
You're not comparing this to a book on a shelf. You're comparing it to the consultant it replaces.
The Textbook
The whole system, in writing
You've hit the ceiling where everything runs through you, and there's no affordable help that covers all of it. This is that help, in writing. Not a book you read, a book you work. All 99 frameworks across eight chapters, drift to exit, each with the diagnostic and the exact prompt written out in full. You run it through your AI one chapter at a time, and by the close you're holding a Master Business Position Statement, an operating manual specific to your business that didn't exist when you opened the book.
- Every framework, diagnostic and prompt I use
- Eight chapters, drift to exit
- Real examples from real businesses
- Lifetime access, no subscription
Every prompt is plain text. Copy it into Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or whatever you already have open.

The Plugin
The same system, running itself
The same system, installed, so you never write a prompt. It runs a diagnostic first, works out what stage you're actually at, then prompts you through your business one step at a time, holding your answers across the whole engagement like a consultant who remembers everything. The book is the understanding. The plugin is the execution.
- One install, no assembly
- Diagnoses your stage before it advises
- Asks you the questions, you don't write prompts
- Lifetime access, no subscription
A Claude skill. Install once. Requires Claude.

What's inside
Real frameworks. Real examples.
Systems you can build today.
Every capability a structured business needs. In the book, and pre installed in the plugin.
Build like a consultant
Your own operating blueprint
Map every system your business needs and build it yourself. Sales, customer experience, staff, operations, admin. Structured so the business runs without you holding it together. This is the exact system I charge to build inside other people's businesses, in your hands to build for yourself.
Think like a CFO
Your numbers, your control
Understand your tax obligations before they stack up. Separate business from personal. Build the buffers that protect you when something goes wrong. Know exactly where your cash is going, what your margins actually are, and how to restructure when the pressure hits. No accountant needed to read your own position.
AI built off the book
Copy, paste, or install
Every chapter comes with prompts you copy straight into Claude or ChatGPT. They turn the AI into a consultant that diagnoses your business, drafts your documents and audits your operations. Upgrade to the Plugin and you skip the copy and paste entirely. It already knows the stages, and it prompts you through your business one step at a time.
Handle it confidently
Staff systems that don't depend on you
Define roles before you hire. Build accountability without micromanaging. Handle incidents without panic. Know your employment obligations and have the frameworks ready before something goes wrong, not after. The chapter every founder wishes they had before their first staffing crisis.
Strategise like an agency
A marketing system you build once
Stop paying monthly retainers for strategies nobody ever explained to you. Build a marketing system you or your staff can run, understand and adjust, so the growth doesn't stop the month you stop paying for it.
Know what you're worth
Exit strategy on your terms
Understand what your business is actually worth and why buyers pay what they pay. Brokers eat into your sale price. This chapter gives you the tools to evaluate, negotiate and prepare without handing over a percentage. Whether you sell or stay, it changes how you build from today.
Why this, not a skill stack
Everyone's teaching you to stack skills.
A pile of tools still isn't a consultant.
You could watch a video and install ten Claude skills tonight. They're free. But you'd have ten tools and no idea which to use, in what order, for your business at your stage. The download was never the hard part.
A stack of skills
- Ten tools waiting for instructions. You decide what to ask
- Each skill does one narrow job
- Research, install and configure each one yourself
- No idea what stage your business is in
- Generic tools off a marketplace
One consultant in your pocket
- One skill that knows what to ask, and in what order
- All 99 frameworks across eight chapters, in one place
- One download, one install, no assembly
- Runs a diagnostic first, then works to your stage
- Built from a real operator's playbook
Everything an operator needs to run a business, in one place, that prompts you, not the other way around.

Questions
The things people ask first.
What's the difference between the Textbook and the Plugin?
Same system, two formats. The Textbook is the whole thing in writing, with every prompt written out so you can paste it into any AI. The Plugin is that system installed into Claude, so it runs the diagnostic and prompts you through your business without you writing anything. The book is the understanding. The plugin is the execution.
Do I need Claude to use it?
Only for the Plugin, which is a Claude skill. The Textbook works with whatever AI you already use, Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, any of them, because every prompt is plain text you copy across.
Is this just AI generated advice repackaged?
No. It's the operator playbook I charge to build inside real businesses, written from running and rebuilding them myself. The prompts turn AI into the tool that applies it. The thinking is mine.
What if it doesn't help me?
Read it, run the Founder Work Audit, apply one system. If it hasn't shown you where your business breaks and what to do about it, email me inside thirty days and I refund you in full. It's digital, so you keep everything either way.
Is there an ongoing cost?
No. Both are one off, yours forever. No subscription, no retainer.
What stage does it suit?
Any stage from just starting to preparing to sell. It runs a diagnostic first to work out where you actually are, then works to that, so it meets you where the business is rather than assuming.

Do it with me
A questionnaire goes out before we speak, so by the time we're on the call I already know your numbers, your bottleneck and your stage. We start at minute one.
Sixty minutes, one to one. You bring the mess, I give you the diagnosis and the single move that matters most right now. You leave with a decision, not a longer list.
Book The CallFour sixty minute sessions. We diagnose, you go and do the work, you come back and we adjust. The closest thing to having me on retainer, without the retainer.
Book Four CallsI rebuild it for you
A business that works but has stopped growing, rebuilt in fourteen days. Positioning, offer, brand, page, funnel and your one lead channel, set up and handed to you. Then you run it.
- Positioning and a productised offer
- Brand refresh applied across everything
- Landing page and one funnel, live
- Your one lead channel, set up properly
- A Seven Systems roadmap
- The Plugin loaded in, yours to keep
Done for you · The Rebuild
I rebuild the machine
around your business.
You have a business that works and has stopped growing. In fourteen days I rebuild the machine around it. Your positioning, your offer, your brand, your page, your funnel and your one lead channel, set up and handed over. Built to grow instead of built to lean on you. Then I hand you the keys.
What I build, in fourteen days
- Positioning and offer. Your vague service turned into one productised offer with a set price and a reason to buy now. The part only I do.
- Brand refresh. Messaging, tagline and look, tightened and applied across everything.
- A landing page that converts, live and mobile first, demonstrating the new offer.
- One funnel. Lead capture, a nurture sequence, and the path to a booking or a sale. Wired and working.
- A Seven Systems roadmap. Your whole business read against the seven systems, the map of what to build next.
- Your one lead channel, set up properly and handed over with a playbook.
- The Plugin, loaded in, yours to keep.
- A sixty minute handover call. Every account transferred into your name. The build ends here.
Your one lead channel
Which one depends on where your customers actually are, decided at the diagnosis, never assumed.
- Coach or online service, Instagram.
- Trade or local service, Google.
- Ecommerce or retail, Meta plus email and SMS.
- Clinic or allied health, referral plus Google.
What it is not
Not an agency retainer. Not managed ads. Not a revenue guarantee. One build, one handover, a hard stop. You run it from there.

Mitch on a call
Not sure where to start?
Fifteen minutes, and you'll know your next move.
Most people know something needs to change but not what to fix first. That's what the call is for. You answer a few questions about where the business is at, we jump on for fifteen minutes, and you leave knowing the one thing worth doing next. Sometimes that's something you handle yourself, sometimes it's something I help with. Either way you'll be clearer than when you got on.
A few questions first, then fifteen minutes. Free, no obligation.

Cellar door · wine
The problem
By the time a tour bus reached the cellar door, the customers had heard the same speech three times that morning. Same styles, same region, same words. The staff weren't doing anything wrong. They were doing what everyone else was doing.
What we changed
We stopped selling the wine and started asking about the person. Leading questions first, then describe the wine into their world. No script, because a script is just the speech again. Standards for how a customer should feel walking out, and everyone's own personality on top.
"Mitch gave us structure without making us robots. He created clear standards for how we wanted customers to feel when they walked through the door, but then encouraged everyone to bring their own personality into the experience. It changed everything. Staff were more confident, the team worked together instead of competing with each other, and customers could genuinely feel the difference. The increase in sales was great, but the culture he built was even better."
RichardEcommerce · advertising
The problem
Every ad dollar was going to the same customers, for the same products, month after month. Nobody had spotted it because the ads were technically working. They just weren't growing anything.
What we changed
The same products in front of a market that had never seen them. New products in front of the customers who already trusted them. Nothing new to make, nothing new to learn, just two directions nobody had looked in.
"I didn't think I could afford a consultant. Looking back, I couldn't afford not to. We were leaking time, money and opportunities every single week and didn't even realise it. Mitchell found problems we'd become blind to and gave us practical solutions we could implement immediately. Best money we've spent on the business."
Olivia"If your business feels like chaos, call Mitch. He's brilliant at taking everything that's floating around in your head and turning it into systems you can actually follow. It sounds simple, but it's made a massive difference to how I operate."
Lewis"Watching what Mitch did with El Chapos was unreal. In such a short amount of time he completely changed the feel of the place. It wasn't just a renovation, it was like the business found its identity. The space, the branding, the systems, the team culture, even the customer experience all felt different. You could tell there was finally a clear vision behind everything."
Paul"The weird thing about Mitch is he genuinely gets excited by problems. I'd explain something that had been driving me insane for months and he'd be sitting there smiling because he'd already worked out three different ways to fix it. He doesn't overcomplicate things, he just untangles the mess and gives you a plan that actually works."
